The Iveagh Conservative Club

We have much to entertain you in a cordial atmosphere and have a varied programme of events with live musical entertainment at least once a month, frequent fish and chip suppers and the occasional quiz night and bingo sessions. We have regular Darts, Cards and dominos nights also including Kalooki.

Club Opening Hours

After a trial period with longer hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the Committee has decided to revert to our original hours.

Saturday 1.00 pm- 12.00 pm Sunday 1.00 pm - 9.00 pm *

* Please note against an asterisk the staff have discretion to stay open later if the numbers in the bar warrant it. *

THE Club’s AGM is on Friday 20th March at 7pm in the next door Iveagh Hall.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Annual General Meeting of the Iveagh Conservative Club Ltd

will be held on Friday 20 March 2026 at 7pm in the Iveagh Hall.

Notice of any motion for inclusion in the Agenda

for the meeting must be submitted in writing

to the Secretary Peter Avis no later than2nd March 2026.

No business other than that specified in the Agenda shall be transacted at the meeting.

On Saturday Club Member Rosemary Wright celebrated her 80th Birthday at a memorable party in the Club with many members and friends.

Many Congratulations from us all.

Friday 13th March. Cheltenham Gold Cup Day. There will be a Club Sweepstake to be paid behind the bar, and Sausage Rolls will be available from 3pm.

Saturday 14th March . The Return of another popular Ploughman’s Lunch. Come along and be seated for 2pm and please book behind the Bar. Payment is £9.00 per person.

Friday 20th March . The Iveagh Club AGM. Full details on the HomePage!

Saturday 28th March. Authentic Italian Night with Matt at 6.30 pm.

Full details with prices to be announced later.

April

Saturday 4th April. Boat Race Day. It will be shown on the Club’s TV’s at 2pm. There will be a Quiz and Raffle.

Saturday 11th April. Grand National Day. There will be a Club Sweepstake to be paid behind the Bar.

Starting at 2pm and there will be a buffet.

Monday 23rd April . St George’s Day. Details to be announced later.

Anyone can hire the pool table for £10.00 , for as long as they want it for the day! Please contact and book with Scott.

Some advertised events will contain.fundraising for future entertainment, such as Stand Up Bingo or Bus Stops etc.

We had a very successful St David’s Day Luncheon on Sunday 1st March cooked for us by Yogi our wonderful Chef.

A donation from the raffle was given to member Denis Tilbrook’s daughter’s Breast Cancer Charity.

Here is a photo of Yogi holding a Surprise Raffle Prize, consisting of a full meal for four consisting of lamb chops with mint sauce and vegetables ready to cook.
